Preparation weekend
One month prior to the programme start date, NEM organises a preparation weekend at the NEM centre in the Netherlands, located only one hour by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. During this weekend you will:
- meet other team members
- get a taste of Jewish life celebrating a shabbat meal
- experience a taste of Arab hospitality
- receive Bible teaching on the subject of reconciliation and Israel
- receive practical information (travel, accomodation, communication)
- receive an introduction to cross-cultural communication
- be informed about safety guidelines and participation rules
