Service to Jew and Arab
Since its foundation in 1963, the NEM has been focused on the Middle East. Throughout the ages there have always been conflicts in this birthplace of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. These have only increased since the foundation of the state of Israel in 1948.
The Middle East is an explosive area, and the effects are felt throughout the world.  

The Near East Ministry works for reconciliation by prayer and practical service to the Arab and the Jew in this harassed territory, doing so with a humble attitude. We are not unaware of sincere mistakes Christians have made towards Jew and Arab.

The NEM is carrying out her ministry in the following ways:
 

• Sending practical workers to the Middle East
• Teaching and education about Israel and the Arab world in the Netherlands and Belgium
• Intercessory prayer for reconciliation in the Middle East
• Publication of articles and booklets
